Self Book Publishing 

The author or self publisher has complete creative control. If you self publish you are responsible for the set up, production cost, marketing and distribution of your work. The benefits of self-publishing are that you retain the copyright and all profits made from sales.

Page Layout

• Set the page size 5.5 x 8.5 or  to 8.5 x 11
• For either size leave at least a 1/2 margin on all sides. Making the copy area 4.5 x 7.5 or 7.5 x  10.
• The page numbers should fit within the copy area.
• Set up your pages so they are in numerical order. We will do the signatures (booklet layout) if needed.

Cover Design

• The cover for a perfect bound book should measure twice the width of the book plus the width of the spine.  
• If you want the cover to trim into a bleed add 1/4 all the way around.
